Biochrom offers an extended range of the Libra UV/Vis spectrophotometers to address a wide range of laboratory applications. For laboratories where measurement of colored solutions in the visible region of the spectrum is required, the Libra S4 and S6 models offer versatility; the Libra S6 offers an optional 37oC heated cell holder.
The Libra S11 accepts accessories such as a long path length cell holder, two-position cell changer, and a range of temperature control options. To make measurements in the UV region of the spectrum, the Libra S12 features an additional ultraviolet light source.
The mid-range model Libra S22 is designed for general purpose UV/Vis spectroscopy and has a large sample compartment designed to accommodate accessories including an eight-position automatic sample changer as standard. The instrument saves running costs through the use of a Xenon light source and press-to-read technology.
The Libra S32 and S35 are pharmacopeia-compliant instruments designed for pharmaceutical QC laboratories that require narrow bandwidth capabilities to fulfill regulatory requirements.
