Traceable Thermometer

By Drug Discovery Trends Editor | November 9, 2012

Control Company’s traceable memory-card humidity/temperature/dew point is a stand-alone unit with data logging capabilities. Stores readings from once a minute to once every 720 minutes on a removable standard SD memory card—identical to cards in digital cameras. Memory reader (supplied) plugs into any USB computer port—no software to install. Text report includes date, time of day, sensor readings and may be sent to any spreadsheet or database. Unit monitors incubators, clean rooms, store rooms, labs, hoods, and any critical areas. Records 5.9 million readings (over 10 years of minute-by-minute readings) and has 256 mb memory card (up to 4 gig card may be used).

Temperature range is 0 to 50.0°C with 0.1° resolution and ±1°C accuracy. Humidity range is 0.0 to 90.0 RH with 0.1 resolution; accuracy is  ±5%RH at 25°C in range of 20 to 85%RH and  ±7%RH elsewhere. Dew point range is -20.0 to 50.0°C with 0.1° resolution.

Minimum/maximum feature displays highest/lowest readings for any time period. Alarm beeps and bright red LED flashes when temperature, humidity, and dew point rise above or fall below user-set trip points. Alarm can be set in 0.1 increments.  Unique 4-line display simultaneously shows ambient temperature, humidity, dew point, and time of day. Operates using supplied batteries and/or supplied adaptor. Case is high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
