Eppendorf has released its ThermoMixer C combination temperature control and mixing instrument for routine use in the laboratory.
The quality of the mixing results is due to the 2DMix-Control technology which ensures efficient mixing in seconds and now offers reliable mixing solutions in 96- and 384-well plates. Controlled circular movements achieve thorough mixing of liquids in even the smallest volumes, while the anti-spill technology prevents lid wetting and cross-contamination.
For dry incubation, the ThermoMixer C and ThermoStat C are operated together with Eppendorf SmartBlocks which are easily exchangeable. These individually sensor-controlled SmartBlocks are the best solution for maintaining accurate, uniform temperatures. A wide variety of Eppendorf SmartBlocks support a broad range of applications and temperature-sensitive assays.
Eppendorf has also launched the Eppendorf ThermoTop, a heated lid with condens.protect technology. This easy to use ThermoTop reliably prevents condensation formation on the tube lid and wall, and in addition supports temperature homogeneity of the thermoblocks to ensure optimal reaction conditions.
Predefined program and temperature keys provide fast and easy access to the most frequently used mixing/temperature parameters. With simplicity and ease of use, the ThermoMixer and ThermoStat instruments contribute to time-saving, stress-free operation, and a pleasant working environment.
