The Panlab/Harvard Apparatus Rotometer features a rotation sensor with adjustable TTL output signal for measuring the effects of lesions, drugs, and other experimental manipulations of the brain. The sensor is bi-directional and provides a double, right and left turns, output with adjustable regulation of pulses/turns.
Experiment duration and time intervals of measurement can be set. An external multicounter is necessary for data storage and counts the number of partial and complete turns in each direction. The system is supplied with the Panlab SeDaCom software for data acquisition and easy exportation of data to Excel.
