The VERSA Mini Liquid-liquid Handling Extraction (LLE) workstation from Aurora Instruments Ltd. is a small, automated liquid handling workstation designed to perform common liquid-liquid extraction (partition chromatography) techniques with high precision, throughput and accuracy. With a built-in temperature-controlled reservoir for storage of solvents and reagents, and a shaker blocks for sample vortex mixing, this system automates procedures to partition samples for downstream applications. It conserves expensive reagents, eliminates concerns associated with volumetric variations caused by handling errors, and automates all repetitive pipetting protocols.
The VERSA Mini LLE can perform common liquid-liquid extraction protocols from sample addition to organic phase removal. In addition, the software offers researchers the flexibility of customizing their own extraction applications.
