TTP LabTech will showcase its Mirrorball high sensitivity laser scanning microplate cytometer for antibody discovery at BioExpo Japan, 30 June – 2 July 2010. Alongside the on-stand viewing of Mirrorball, TTP LabTech will also be presenting supporting performance data in its workshop ‘Mix-and-Read Screening for Antibody Discovery’, on July 2nd from 2-2.30pm, room EX-B4.
Mirrorball is the first microplate cytometer to offer simultaneous laser scanning, enabling superior multiplexing and resulting in higher throughput single pass scanning. Filling a critical role by rapidly and reliably performing mix-and–read, cell- or bead-based assays, Mirrorball is set to revolutionise the antibody discovery process.
Dr Wayne Bowen, Chief Scientific Officer at TTP LabTech, comments on the strategy behind Mirrorball. “Innovation is key to success at TTP LabTech and we have an exceptional team onboard who provide this. Additionally, we listen, and incorporate feedback from the scientific community into our R&D process.” He continued, “By listening to the needs of researchers in antibody discovery, we have been able to respond with a novel and advanced technology which is Mirrorball – a unique high sensitivity microplate cytometer for fluorescence cellular screening.”
