Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces NUNC 384-Well Polypropylene Plates with an added feature that improves the user’s ability to achieve a secure seal when using commercially-available heat seal tapes and instruments. The new design features a raised rim around each well that promotes a robust, secure seal in all wells, enables plates to be re-sealed multiple times, and is compatible with adhesive seal tapes.
NUNC 384-Well Polypropylene Plates are used primarily for storage and transport of chemicals, nucleic acids, and proteins because of their inherent chemical resistance and temperature stability. During storage, it is critical that each well be effectively and completely sealed to prevent well-to-well contamination, evaporation, loss or degradation of well contents. The new plate construction meets these requirements.
NUNC 384-Well Polypropylene Plates are available sterile or non-sterile in four colors: natural, white, black, or blue. The black and white plates are used for fluorescence and luminescence assays, respectively, and the black plates help increase product stability by blocking light from photosensitive compounds.
