Symyx Technologies announced availability of Symyx Automation Studio, a new enterprise software solution that accelerates experimental workflows and automates and controls multiple laboratory instruments. The software also facilitates data collection, real-time data processing, analysis, searching, and reporting.
Automation Studio combines the capabilities of Symyx Epoch and Symyx Impressionist laboratory execution software into a new application that integrates powder dispensing, liquid-handling, heating, stirring, chromatography, spectroscopy as well as imaging functionalities. Automation Studio is configured for easy, turnkey control of more than 150 different laboratory instruments from more than 50 vendors.
