Kinetics Analyzer Module

By Drug Discovery Trends Editor | September 30, 2008

Genedata released Genedata Screener 6.0, the latest version of its open and scalable enterprise solution for high throughput screening (HTS) and high content screening (HCS) analysis. Screener 6.0 combines an enterprise-wide assay data management platform with high-performance processing workflows and flexible analysis tools and has a special focus on time series data analysis, according to the company.

The latest Screener release includes an enhanced solution to kinetics assay data management challenges, icluding new functionality that enables users to analyze, integrate, and manage extensive sets of time series data, independent of instrumentation, technology, volume, or location.

Users can optimize aggregation rules, re-analyze data for complete campaigns and systematically gather mechanistic information from curve shape in addition to amplitude. The application programming interfaces (APIs) included in this open system can be connected to different readers, as well as implemented to provide custom aggregation functions for specific experiments. Quality assessment and visualization are vastly improved and interferences with biological response can be identified from kinetics traces. With consistent data management and visualization, the resulting parameters are optimized for each assay and users are able to extract more information to get better results and better qualified hits from each single experiment.
