NEW YORK (AP) – Johnson & Johnson’s Cilag GmbH unit said it has completed its $245 million acquisition of some of the most popular cough and cold medicines in Russia.
Cilag bought the over-the-counter brands of J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The brands include Rinza, the top multi-symptom cough and cold brand in Russia, and the number two cough medicine, Doktor Mom.
Johnson & Johnson is based in New Brunswick, N.J. The Cilag business is based in Zug, Switzerland.
