Velos released Velos eResearch Version 7, bringing a host of advanced features and functions to its customers. In addition to a wide range of functional enhancements, Version 7 further delivers on the power of Web 2.0 technology and system design. The company applies rigorous software quality assurance (SQA) standards in its software development process and is the only software vendor in widespread use at investigator sites that is also CFR Part 11 compliant. Among other advantages, the rigorous SQA process enables customers to rapidly move new releases from test to production environments. With Version 7, some customers moved from test environment to production use in as little as one week. More than 60 functional and system enhancements were incorporated in the release.
