Carestream Molecular Imaging offers the Gel Logic 2200 PRO optical imaging system aimed at in vitro scientific applications. Featuring a cooled 2.2 megapixel CCD camera and true 16-bit data capture, the system can automate the process of capturing high-quality fluorescent, luminescent, and colorimetric lab images—in sample formats such as gels (DNA/Coomassie/Silver stain), membranes, Western blots, and 96-well plates.
“This fully automated system is part of our strategy to offer in vitro systems that deliver powerful new tools to enhance user productivity and ultimately help advance the pace of research findings,” said John Dellisanti, president, Carestream Molecular Imaging.
The Gel Logic 2200 PRO leverages a new design with intelligent software that has the ability to “think” with and for users. The software enables researchers to identify a focal point on a specific image and press a button. The system automatically adjust to the perfect image focal point.
