Honeywell and Salesforce expand life sciences partnership

By Drug Discovery & Development | October 15, 2024

Honeywell LogoHoneywell and Salesforce have announced an expansion of their strategic alliance to deliver an enhanced software platform tailored for the life sciences industry. This expanded platform integrates Honeywell’s TrackWise Quality suite with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Analytics, and other solutions, aiming to expedite the delivery of vital medications and healthcare devices to patients while prioritizing safety and affordability.

Honeywell’s TrackWise Quality digitizes and automates quality and compliance processes. The software is designed to streamline manufacturing, mitigate risks, and reduce production costs in the pharma and medical device sectors. Conversely, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud unifies disparate data sources, such as clinical trial results and medical records, to enhance communication and collaboration between life sciences organizations, healthcare professionals, partners, and patients.

Frank Defesche, SVP & GM, Life Sciences at Salesforce, stated: “Our ongoing commitment to provide innovative software to manufacturers of critical life supporting treatments is focused on provider and patient trust. The long-standing collaboration between Salesforce and Honeywell continues to strengthen the life sciences industry by supporting quality interactions and quality products in better ways, leading to better patient outcomes.”

Sunil Pandita, Vice President & General Manager of Honeywell Life Sciences, echoed this sentiment: “By joining forces with Salesforce, we are able to bring together our combined life sciences strengths to further boost operational efficiency, improve quality, and increase patient centricity through technology. From helping patients find the right life-changing clinical trials to detecting anomalies in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Honeywell and Salesforce technologies are enabling better patient care.”
