By Green Leaf Medical, LLC | March 12, 2018

Maryland cannabis cultivator, Green Leaf Medical, LLC,  has obtained the exclusive right to use the Leafly logo/brand and content on its products and marketing materials in the state of Maryland.

With over 13 million monthly visitors, Leafly is the largest cannabis website/App in the world. It allows users to rate and review different cannabis strains and products, and then to locate dispensaries that carry them.

In August 2017, Green Leaf Medical (dba “gLeaf”) was awarded final approval to begin cultivating medical cannabis in Maryland. Green Leaf is one of just 14 licensed cultivators in the State of Maryland. On its cultivation application, Green Leaf received the highest score out of 146 applicants. Green Leaf plans to extend its brand beyond Maryland, and has applications pending in other States.

“Green Leaf is focused on assuring that Maryland’s medical cannabis patients have a high quality, and diverse line of products that will meet their healthcare needs,” said Philip Goldberg, CEO of Green Leaf.

Green Leaf’s pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis cultivation facility is located in Frederick, Maryland. Green Leaf produces approximately 500 pounds of medical cannabis per month and expects to double capacity in the next seven months.

“Green Leaf and Leafly share a commitment to providing Maryland consumers with consistent, safe, and reliable information about medical cannabis. Green Leaf has demonstrated this commitment, and we fully support their vision for providing a superior patient experience rooted in science and medicine.,” says Leafly’s director of marketing, Ericka Pitman.
