The HT-4X centrifugal evaporator from Genevac provides sample preparation capabilities for scientists working in the drug discovery environment. The HT-4X makes demanding applications routine. Corrosive vapours such as trifluoroacetic acid may be removed by the standard system and an inert purge option allows high safety evaporation of flammable solvents. In addition, the HT-4X can also be used to achieve high speed lyophilisation of HPLC fractions and solvents used for reformatting samples.
The HT-4X is a high performance evaporator that combines compactness, operational versatility and efficient sample processing. A built-in dual chamber refrigerated condenser, that combines a cryopump and solvent recovery system, together with extra powerful IR lamps, speeds evaporation, even for high-boiling point solvents such as DMSO. In addition, efficient chamber cooling between runs protects thermally sensitive samples when run immediately after higher boiling point solvents. The system additionally offers an auto-defrosting condenser option and functions such as auto shutdown and auto-solvent selection. Genevac’s patented SampleGuard and Dri-Pure technology is included to protect samples from overheating and bumping.
Operated via an integral full colour screen the Genevac HT-4X offers comprehensive display of real-time data enabling rapid methods development across a wide range of applications. The system provides facility to store up to 99 evaporation methods making it ideal for multi-user environments.
