EMD Millipore, the life sciences division of Merck KGaA of Germany, will expand its line of chemicals and reagents now being offered in the United States over the next two years. More than 14,700 products, previously available only outside North America, will be marketed to R&D and analytical laboratories in North America.
In addition, the brand identity will be standardized under the “M” brand. Products for chromatography, instrumental analysis, and inorganic reagents will be introduced in North America in 2012. Solvents, organic reagents for research, and analytics for food and water will be added in 2013. A range of packaging and size options will be added.
