Content requirements
The best articles provide exclusive analysis, not just an overview of the subject. Tell us the what and the why. Try to include specific data (can be anonymized). In addition, content must be original and exclusive. Aim to make content informative or educational rather than promotional. Content can include product information to illustrate concepts. Include the author’s name, a two-sentence bio and a headshot. Remember this is contributed editorial, so avoid directly marketing yourself through it and instead focus on providing helpful information to our audience of researchers.
For length, shoot for about 750 to 1,000 words, but exceptions can be made if you need a bit more or less space.
If possible, try to include a few subheadings to break up the main themes.
Generative AI may be used for research, brainstorming and outlining. Every sentence that reaches readers must be written, verified and owned by a human.
On images and figures
Include at least one high-resolution image to support your content. This may be a photograph, illustration, chart, or embedded video. Images should be at least 800 pixels wide. Authors must confirm they possess republication rights for any third-party materials. If rights cannot be verified, exclude the material.
Author information and submission review
Provide a professional headshot and a one- to two-sentence biography that establishes your expertise in relation to the article’s subject matter.
