Esco will launch at Pitton 2010 a new range of CelCulture CO2 Incubators that provide a carefully monitored and consistent cell culture environment. VivoCell temperature, CO2 and humidity control technology with proprietary control algorithms, provides cells with a pseudo-in vivo environment by ensuring excellent accuracy and uniformity as well as fast recovery of the parameter values following door openings.
CelSafe contamination control system comprises the industry’s widest range of contamination control methods. SteriSafe ULPA filtration enables the chamber air to be maintained at ISO class 5 condition. SwiftCon moist heat 90 degree C decontamination cycle operates overnight to eradicate any contamination in the unlikely event it occurs. At the end of the cycle, the chamber is dry and ready to use. All input gases are filtered by in-line filters before they enter the chamber to remove impurities and contaminants. The incubator’s main body is made from electro-galvanized steel with Esco’s unique ISOCIDE antimicrobial coating. The interior of the chamber is made from stainless steel type 304.
Esco CelCulture CO2 incubators are 170 L or 5.7 cu.ft., direct heat plus air jacket incubator with forced convection. In addition to the ideal environment it provides for cell culture, the incubators are also very intelligent and extremely easy to use. CelAlert reminder alarm system prompts user to replace CO2 tank and ULPA filter automatically to prevent the incubator system from being compromised. An intelligent data and event logger records all incubator parameters for on-screen recalls. Diagnostic interface and on-screen quick help provide comprehensive solutions to frequently-encountered problems.
