Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. introduced new NUNC Cell Culture Inserts, now available with polycarbonate membranes. The new inserts are ideal for cell interaction and cultivation studies in areas such as tissue engineering, co-cultivation, invasion, chemotaxis, and transport without the need for preparation with matrix coating.
New polycarbonate membranes expand functionality and maneuverability to the NUNC Cell Culture Insert product line. The new membranes are easily removed from the multi-well, Multidish design and are ideal for sectioning for transmission electron microscopy when using a glass knife. The new polycarbonate membranes have larger pore sizes that make them ideal for invasion and chemotaxis studies.
