Prior Scientific introduced the latest innovation in microscope automation, the NZ250CE NanoScanZ Piezo Stage System. The NZ250CE is designed for researchers producing rapid Z sections and 3D images of live cells and other specimens grown in well plates and other large sample dishes. The NZ250CE NanoScanZ Piezo Stage System offers 250 microns of travel, 2.5 nanometer repeatability, and closed loop control utilizing a sub-angstrom resolution Piezo resistive sensor.
Specifically designed to work in conjunction with Prior’s H117 ProScanII stages, the NZ250CE comes complete with RS232/USB or analog (0-10V) control. It can also be used in conjunction with Prior H122 focus motor so the entire microscope range of focus can be viewed. The NanoScanZ complements the speed of the newest digital cameras and accomplishes in milliseconds what would take seconds for conventional rotary focus drives. By moving the sample instead of the objective the NanoScanZ offers enormous benefits over existing objective based Piezo systems including quicker movement and settling and the flexibility to create Z stacks with multiple objectives.
